Vote for Your Favorite, Theologically-Correct Valentine's Day Card!

Dear Readers,

We asked you to submit the text that would appear in a theologically-correct Valentine's Day card, and you sent us some great stuff.

Now you all get to decide which submission will win its creator a copy of Family Vocations. Please enjoy viewing all of these creative cards, choose your favorite, and submit your vote. Voting will remain open for one week.

We will announce the winner on Valentine's Day.

Because of the relative volume of entries, in situations where the same individual provided two submissions, the judging committee (i.e., my husband) selected the best of each two.

You should also note that the amazingly-beautiful-and-aesthetically-profound (cough, cough) graphic design of most of the cards was done late at night by a pregnant editor. It's all for fun, folks, so judge the texts and not the fonts!

UPDATE: See the contest results HERE.

  1. Well, this was a tough one, and I had to change my vote a couple of times, but I finally settled on the one my husband thought he'd give me.

    1. You're right. It's because the images are inside a survey that I'm using to tally the votes. Hmm. I'll have to think about this.

  3. :) I laughed out loud before getting to the first card since they're all labeled "submissions." Mary J.

We love knowing what thoughts and ideas this article sparked. Please leave comments, but do remember Luther's explanation of the eighth commandment, and "put the best construction" on the intentions of the author and other readers.
