How happy you would feel, and would not know how to act for joy, not for the work’s sake, but that you knew that thereby you were serving him, who is greater than heaven and earth.” I think I would gladly be martyred for Jesus but then have trouble setting aside what I want to serve someone else (not to mention doing it cheerfully) even for a short time.
